Protocols are designed to help identify urgent conditions, determine appropriate disposition, and support clear patient communication.
GYN (Non Pregnant)
Includes evaluation and guidance for non-pregnant patients with gynecologic complaints such as abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic or lower abdominal pain, vaginal discharge or irritation, urinary symptoms, contraception or IUD/implant concerns, breast symptoms (non-lactating), and post-procedure questions.
Pregnant Less 20 Weeks
Includes triage and management of early pregnancy concerns prior to fetal viability. Addresses vaginal bleeding, pelvic or abdominal pain (including ectopic screening), nausea and vomiting (hyperemesis risk), fever or infection symptoms, urinary complaints, trauma or injury, medication or exposure questions, and emergency symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, syncope, or neurologic changes.

Hypertensive Symptoms (Early Pregnancy)
Pregnancy 20 - 36 Weeks
Includes triage of mid- to late-pregnancy complaints prior to term. Covers preterm labor symptoms, vaginal bleeding, suspected rupture of membranes, decreased fetal movement, hypertension and preeclampsia symptoms, trauma or injury, and other urgent maternal complaints.

Includes evaluation of term pregnancy and labor-related concerns. Addresses labor patterns, contractions, rupture of membranes, vaginal bleeding at term, decreased fetal movement, hypertensive symptoms, severe abdominal pain, and special populations such as patients with prior cesarean delivery (TOLAC).
Postpartum
Includes triage of maternal concerns following delivery. Covers postpartum hypertension and preeclampsia symptoms, abnormal vaginal bleeding or hemorrhage, headache or neurologic symptoms, fever or infection (including endometritis and wound issues), breastfeeding-related breast concerns, chest pain or shortness of breath, mood or anxiety symptoms, and postpartum trauma or injury.
